Bicycle Patrol

The most recent trend of police patrolling on bicycles began in the mid 1980's. As this method of patrol increasingly proved to be an effective way of policing in other communities, it was also adopted by the Two Rivers Police Department. The Two Rivers bicycle patrol program began in Two Rivers in 1992. The team started with two Schwinn mountain bikes and other related equipment, a great deal of which was donated by community civic organizations and businesses.

Bicycle Registration

This form needs to be completed and brought to the Police Department in order to register bicycles in the City of Two Rivers.

Blighted Properties and Junk Vehicles

How to report and clean-up blighted properties and junk vehicles in our community.

The appearance of our community has a direct connection to our crime level. A community with clean and well maintained properties presents the image of a community of concerned and caring members. The incidence of crime tends to be lower in such communities than were blighted properties are allowed to exist.

Crime Prevention Committee

The Cool City Crime Prevention Committee (CCCPC) is a non-profit organization that works closely with the Two Rivers Police Department to continually work on crime prevention initiatives. The purpose of this group is to bring the citizens of Two Rivers updated information, facts, and safety tips in hopes to reduce crime and enhance the quality of life in our community.

Crime Prevention Unit

Sir Robert Peel's philosophy of policing in 1829 is the foundation of today's community oriented policing models seen nation wide.

Crime Stoppers

Through the Manitowoc County Crime Stoppers Organization, we will now be utilizing a mobile crime tips app, P3 Tips. The P3 platform is a web based reporting system that enables the public to share information anonymously with Crime Stoppers programs and Law Enforcement entities in Manitowoc County. You can also include photos and videos with the tip.

Neighborhood Watch Program

Start a Neighborhood Watch Program in your neighborhood and help us protect property, prevent crime, or save a life.

The Two Rivers Police Department and TRIAD are looking for members for the New Neighborhood Watch Program. The program is being rejuvenated and we need your support and help.

Police Cadet Post

The Two Rivers Police Cadet Post (formerly Police Explorers) is a volunteer organization made up of young men and women (from throughout Manitowoc County) ages 14-20 yrs. old who have an interest in a Law Enforcement career. The organization is sponsored by the Two Rivers Police Department and is part of a new national non-profit organization called Public Safety Cadets, which is founded and managed by active and retired law enforcement officers and business leaders from throughout the US.

Prescription Drug Drop-Off

Two Rivers Police Department has installed a drug drop box in the lobby at Two Rivers City Hall located at 1717 E Park Street. This drug drop box was installed to help make drug disposal more convenient for residents and more efficient for law enforcement. The new drop box is available Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 4:30 PM when the lobby is open.

TRIAD Committee

TRIAD is a community-based policing initiative between seniors, Law Enforcement, and service providers of the community to increase safety through education and crime prevention.

School Resource Officer Program

The School Resource Officer (SRO) Program has been an important part of the Two Rivers Public School District and the Police Department's Administrative Services Division since 1983. Currently we have three SROs serving the Two Rivers Public School District.
