City of Two Rivers Christmas Tree Collection
A free Christmas tree collection will be provided to City of Two Rivers residents during the week of January 6th through January 10th, 2025. Christmas trees must be placed at the curbside and will be picked up on the same day as garbage/recycling collection. During that week Christmas trees may also be dropped off at the Public Works Garage at 1415 Lake Street between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Plastic tree bags must be removed from trees. All trees must be free of all tinsel, decorations, or any other types of contaminants. Contaminated trees, including flocked trees, will not be picked up free or accepted at the Public Works Garage. Contaminated trees must be stickered and will be picked up by the garbage hauler. No other yard waste or brush will be picked up during this Christmas tree collection. As with garbage and recycling, TREES MAY NOT BE PLACED AT CURBSIDE BEFORE 6:00 P.M. OF THE DAY BEFORE THE REGULAR COLLECTION DAY.
If residents are unable to dispose of their Christmas trees during the week scheduled, they may always take them to the Manitowoc County MRF compost site at 3000 Basswood Road, Manitowoc, during normal operating hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
