Woodland Dunes Nature Center

Come out to enjoy our trails and see how life is transforming. Breathe in our fresh air and enjoy the freedom of nature. What began in 1974 is now 1,500 acres of preserved habitat, which draws thousands of visitors each year. Hike, kayak, star gaze, or relax in the Butterfly Garden while you’re here. We have something for everyone, including hands-on, nature-based activities for families in the education room. Make sure you check out our amazing mural and unique gift shop, too!
