Ghost Ships Festival

An incredibly unique community gathering for those interested in the thousands of historic lost ships that lie on the bottom of the Great Lakes! The festival is hosted by the Wisconsin Underwater Archeology Association and co-sponsored by the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary, the Wisconsin Historical Society’s Maritime Archeology program and the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.

The festival treats attendees to a wide range of technologies, exhibits, artists, musicians, scuba divers and explorers whose work focuses on Great Lakes shipwrecks.

Events are scheduled 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., with a post-festival social gathering from 7 p.m.-1 a.m. at The Inn on Maritime Bay. See the schedule and find all the details.

Advance tickets for the two-day event are available online for $25 or can be purchased at the door for $30. Youth ages 17 and younger can attend free.
