The Friends of Point Beach State Forest host an exciting new event for adults 21 and older at the Nature Center: Taste wines and beers produced in this area and view the new Shipwrecks of Rawley Point exhibit. Raffles, too. While you're there, purchase food at the concession stand, hike the trails, and enjoy the beach—all in one great afternoon!

Try adult beverages from:

  • Cool City Brewing Company
  • PetSkull Brewing
  • Craft Creek Brewing Co.
  • Sabbatical Brewing Co.
  • Cold Country Vines & Wines
  • Silarian Vineyards
  • Duck Creek Vineyard & Winery
  • Parallel 44 Vineyard & Winery

Also check out the new Action Track Chair, a specialized mobility chair that can be used to traverse park trails or go on the beach (it's available to reserve for free by calling the Park Office).

A very special feature. Enjoy a free sample of Shipwrecks of Rawley Point IPA by Cool City Brewery. This special-edition brew includes a commemorative map of the shipwrecks around Rawley Point including the Rouse Simmons , Vernon, Continental and Major Anderson. The beer will be available for purchase in two- and four-packs.

  • $25 for 10 tastings plus a souvenir glass.
  • $35 includes the tastings and glass plus a two-pack of Shipwrecks of Rawley Point IPA and an optional one-year family membership in the Friends of PBSF.
  • Designated-driver tickets are $10 with water and soda available for purchase.
  • Tickets available online, at the Park Office during regular hours, and at Cool City Brewing Company—or scan the QR code below. A limited number of tickets available the day of the event.

All proceeds benefit the Friends group in its mission to provide park upkeep and to offer educational activities and full public access. Current needs include funding for a storage trailer for the Action Track Chair and for replacing outdated playground equipment.

Please note that park admission fee (or current vehicle sticker) is required to enter for the event.
